12500k, failed prime95 blend test

Thread Starter
Hello, I was able to passed the prime95 small fft test, and the intel burn test, 20 runs at high, however, my computer will BSOD running prime blend test in about 3 hours. How do I fix it?

i2500k at 4.5G
Turbo ratio on all core to 45
Internal PLL overvoltage, ON
LLC, AUTO
VRM fix frequence, 350
Phase control and duty control, EXTREME
CPU voltage, OFFSET MODE
CPU PLL voltage, 1.72

I have the PNY Optima 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 RAM.

Well, you don't really need the VRM Fixed Frequency since you're not at a very high overclock. Even at high overclocks it doesn't improve anything in most cases.

Onto the main topic, Try upping the DRAM Voltage or VCCIO Voltage. In most cases I'd say when Blend fails its memory related.

my ram voltage is at 1.5v now, how much should i up it to?
It might not be your RAM as you are running it at the rated specs. You might try either upping the core voltage or lowering the overclock to see if that gives you stability.

Just to be sure it isn't a lack of voltage to your RAM, set the RAM voltage to 1.55v and give it another run.

However, I would like to set the vcore to offset mode, cause when the pc is idle, it's is the low 1.0x range.

And I just passed the intel burn test with 30 runs at high setting.

IBT isn't testing socket 1155 CPUs very well. Blend seems to be the best stress tester so far. Increase vcore and retest.
