what's wrong with the ModXstreams? they seem to get good ratings on newegg, just wondering.

I plan on doing an SLI in the near future, would a 500w be enough?

That's a really poor price for a 2x2GB kit if I've ever seen one. Granted, it's a good kit, but at $80 is far from acceptable. You can get the same kit or similar kits for nearly half price on Newegg! This is why you NEVER buy RAM from Microcenter.

I'd honestly just wait for AM3+ and Bulldozer.

That's somewhat more fair, though best places to get RAM are still Newegg and Amazon, sometimes you pay less despite paying tax there.

I get on these um..urges..so when I want something I want it now. BUT what do you think about that fry's dual kingstons, performance wise?

Also, since I want it now, I'm willing to order through newegg another set of ram and PSU that are better. And return the microcenter PSU and RAM once the newegg order arrive haha

They're okay, new kit that looks pretty good and probably overclocks as well as other kingston kits such as HyperX Blu

Depending on how I like the Kingston ram, I'll probably order these aswell, I Just want the system up and running by tomorrow

NOOOOO! get the 1055T instead. I'd really recommend a 1055T over a 955 BE. their prices are not that far apart imo but they're really worth it. given the advantages of 1055T with the 955 BE it's a no brainer for me. 1055t's overclock better, runs cooler, has better IMC and 2 free cores for your multitasking needs

actually with the mobo and 1055t combo deal it comes off to the same price with a 955, so 1055 it is
