No improvement at all with gtx 560 from hd 4850?? - Page 2

i know its dramatic, but everytime i go from ati to nvidia or other way around, the best way to make sure everything goes well is to format everything and do fresh installs, of course back up your data, but that will assure you get the best performance

No.
Your 4850 was holding back already, and now your 560 is too.
CPU can't feed either of the cards enough to render.
The only difference you will notice, is that you can now run max AA/AF etc without getting lower fps since that is purely done by your vga card and not the CPU.

Try and find a cheap quadcore cpu, anything will do really.
The clockspeed does not even matter that much for BC2.
Q6600 G0 is a great overclocker and can be found for good prices.

Btw, turn off HBAO right NOW. It can probably save you 20 fps and you can't notice the difference.
I'd advise turning off bloom too, but that takes some config editing.

Ya am thinking of returning this graphix card and get a better cpu instead, not becuz its a bad card, just becuz my cpu suck so much cant feed it, its funny ho wi have to sit in a corner for around 2-3 mins for the framerate to raise to 45 before do anything lol lol
