are these hyper ICs?

Thread Starter
I remember hearing that these are hyper IC's, the 8-8-8-24 sticks. Does anyone know for sure?

Newegg Link

I have a kit, and plan to sell them, and this information affects the price quite a bit.

Thanks!

what is the version number on them?

Edit: here is a link that contains version number IC's

I would highly doubt it. Since they have long went past that version number. Maybe you will get lucky and get a old back-stocked order of the ram. You can call newegg and asked what version number is on it though.

I already have them, and have had them for awhile. I'm looking to sell them and want to get all the info I can first.

Check out the version number on a stick of your ram.

The sticker should read something like 4GB (2x2GB) 2048MB 2000mhz 8-8-8-24 1.65 ver2.1.

According to Corsair, any IC manufacturers by Elpida used in their memory will have ver 2.x on the dimm (according to the thread on DDR3 IC's).

That would likely suggest that they are hypers. As a general rule, the only kind of ram that can do 8-8-8-24 @ 2000mhz is hypers.
