bal3wolf has a point OP

learn a lesson, at least it isn't as bad as frying a CPU or GPU or expensive RAM

no point raging over this cause everyone here is going to point out that this is 100% your fault

Bad luck man.

Try straighting them out, and then RMAing it.

Speak to a newegg manager, exceptions can happen if a customer is completely ticked off and mental.

But, to be honest, your pretty screwed.

If you speak to a egg manager or a giga rep and say you bent the pins because you had to take the board back for RMA, then they might make a exception.

Amd bent pins are so easy to fix. If you mess up you can just fill the hole with a small piece of gold wire

Could send it off to Gigabyte where they will replace the CPU socket for a SMALL FEE, and then after the repair has been made RMA to newegg or Gigabyte Directly..Still cheaper then buying a new motherboard.

I feel sorry for the OP but i love these types of threads.
At least your $300 gave a few of us a smile, I think it was worth it.

I can do that, but I need to wait until Monday to speak with Newegg about actually sending the board back to me. I'll see what can be done, if anything, from newegg. Again someone before fired back what was my point and my point is the board is faulty from the manufacturer, it shouldnt matter if I bent the pins, period........
