Using case switch for CCFL...

Thread Starter
Hey there!

My case is the Cooler Master 690 II Advanced. This case has a switch on top to turn on and off a 140mm LED-fan in the front. I switched this fan for another without LEDs, so the switch isnt used. Now Im thinking about using it for my CCFL (Sharkoon TwinSet). The CCFL do have an own switch.

Im not sure about the wiring... What would I have to connect and could there be any problems about all that?

Thanks for your help! :-)

Is the case switch a boolean switch or the one where you press to on press to off?

Its just attached to two cables! Im just not much into this kind of work... so I thought I better ask which cables to connect and if its okay to change switches like that, before I burn down the house!

Connect positive from PSU to switch, connect second lead on switch to positive lead on the inverter. Leave negative alone.

And, that's it really
