HD 6870 oc - Page 3

Battleforge is free And tbh Dead Space 2 is not demanding at all, I had it maxed with AA on my old comp 5600x2 and a 8800gt , smooth gameplay.
Yes the reqs might be low, but its a directx11 title, and a rts with lots of things going on.

I couldn't get any higher than 950/1150 with stock voltage. I could run 1000/1050 but as soon I raised the mem clock I had to drop the core clock. I was using heaven and furmark for testing. Which seems to work as everything has been stable.

For those of you doing volt mods/ higher OC are you running an after market cooling solution? I'm kind of new with gpu OCing.

I can run 1000/1125 without any volt changes. I would try higher, but I dont feel comfortable attempting this. 1000 core is as high as afterburner will go with my cards.

Running 980/1200 @ stock voltage (at least if PowerColor kept stock voltages for their PCS+, not sure bout this though)

33° idle
76° max load with 65% fan

Cooler: AC Accelero TwinTurbo Pro
