is my temp normal?

Thread Starter
My ambient temp is 28 deg. I added 2nd radiator to my loop externally. so loop goes

res< pump<gpu<external rad<cpu<rad<res

should i try changing it so that it's res<rad<CPU ? or is my radiator not "enough"

I am using 2 swiftech mcr220QPK. If i fold on 3 clients (smp, gpu, cpu) over night my cpu hovers at 50deg and gpu at 45deg. Do these temps seem normal? this temp is under my OC'd CPU and gpu at stock clocks folding(don't want to fold with maxed out voltage on gpu)

or should I get better rad? speaking of rad, I was thinking of getting thermochill 120.3, are there any other better rads out there? read couple of reviews on skinnee

If it was mine i would want the rad before the gpu/cpu as it would be cooler before it enters them. If it was a flow problem. You could add another pump and make it two loops. Maybe a 355 with a power top would help out the flow. But i don't know what kind of flow you are getting.

I'm using MCP35x if i remember correctly it has 6.3psi head or something.

hmm I thought it was okay with rad before each setup.

because radiator after CPu cools the water and enters res and back to GPU and heated GPU enters external rad and cools then enters cpu. or is my theory wrong

for rad after CPU I'm using 2 CM blademaster and external rad I'm using mix of 3 fans, silverstone AP121, Gentletyphoon 1450rpm, and gelid wing 12.

I was expecting a better temp than nh-d14, but I suppose this is VERY reasonable considering it's cooling both GPU and CPU. compared to 1 rad, temp only dropped by 4 deg?

would a better rad make difference?

It is a 600T, check his sig.

The loop order doesn't matter once system is on like for 10minutes and the system reaches equilibrium. Your temps are fine.

Are you using MCP35x in PWM? Or 100% power always?
