Please help me to complete my water cooling setup

Hi fellow overclockers,

I am setting up a computer system (GPGPU) with the following key components.

EVGA Classified SR-2 motherboard with NB/SB water cooled
2x Intel Xeon X5680
6x Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 (non-SLI)

I wish to water cool them and my aim is to achieve 5C or less delta using the least amount of water cooling gears possible with minimal amount of noise produced. I don't have a budget yet but I plan to spend as much as possible to get the best components and maximise the performance of the water cooling system.

Using the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator Pro v2.5 (http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine), it is estimated that the power required for the motherboard with 12 sticks of DDR3 RAM and 2x X5680 (overclocked to ~4.5GHz) is 450W. Regarding the GTX 580s, without being overclocked, the estimated power usage is 240W, thus the total power required for the six GPUs would be around 1440W. If they are overclocked, I would think the number would go up to 1800W. What do you think?

For your information, I have chosen the Aqua Computer Cuplex Kyros HF CPU waterblocks and AquaGrafx waterblocks for the GTX 580 but not sure about the others, namely the radiators, pumps, reservoirs, fans and tubings. I also wonder if quick connect fittings or elbows should be used as I am concerned that they might limit water flow.

Let the suggestions come in. Thanks in advance.

SLI only supports 4 cards.

You should be able to do quad sli with this http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16817256054 or get an antec 1200W http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16817371032

I am running the GPUs individually, not in SLI.

I think 4 or maybe even 5 560 rads with push/pull fans will cool that perfectly.

Will want 2 pumps also, mcp655s will do the job

You are going to need so many radiators for good temps and crazy PSU.. like 2x

Ok. 5 4x140mm radiators? Which brand would you recommend?

Regarding the pumps, are they running in series with the loop? Would you suggest individual loops for the GPUs and CPUs?

Thanks.

Yes 4x140 ... recommend the SR1 series... I have two SR1s going in my case and they are amazing, huge and again amazing.

I picked my SR1s up from Mountain mods for a great price and fast shipping

if you can run two loops then I recommend that for that many cards... but if not then you should be ok with that amount of rad space... you can ever get pumps with new heads that allow them to be attached together. or even a res/dual pump.

That's why i chose it, it completely defies the current logic. But i will be happy if it actually happens
