will the rx fit in your case its pretty wide
the diff will prolly be about 3-5c maybe
RX is thicker if I remember correctly...

What are you cooling? just CPU?

If you can fit it and budget it I would recommend it over the rs.

Do you plan to do push/pull with the fans? if so then you might be able to get away with the rs.

No, not gonna push pull i dont think, and yes, if the dimensions on the site are right, it will fit. i wont have any hard drive cages, but it will fit. lol and probly just cpu for now. possibly gonna cool gpu too, but if so not till next year, and i probly wont even bother.

Well like said it will make a small difference but yes a difference... if you can free up $50 I would do it. even more so if you are not doing push/pull

Its only 20 dollar more if i don't get the kit but just build my own loop with the rasa and the rx240, so i think im gonna do that. i dont much like the look of the xpsc res+pump combo anyways. plus i dont think i'd have room for it since my hdd have to go where the bay resevoir would anyways.

Can you list your part list? I've never been able to even come with $50 of the price of the Rasa kit.

@ charlie, no i meant 20$ more for the rad if i buy it seperately. The only difference between the rs240 and rx240 kit is the rad, and the rx 240 kit is 180 compared to 130 for the rs. but the rad prices alone are 40 and 60$ respectively.

I dont have an exact part list but my ballpark figure was 250 and thats not including a res price.

So it is alot more expensive than the kits, but i have the added bonus of picking my own parts i guess. idk im still undecided on building my own, or saving money on the kits. thats why i posted

I would just stick with the RS240. It's a good way to get your feet wet and for $130 it's a steal.

The temperature difference between the RS240 and the RX240 would be less than 2C anyways.
