I see I think Memory Express price matches too, but only to local stores. They sort of did that after opening in Richmond to try and beat the crap out of NCIX at Aberdeen Centre but it's not working
Just under $1800 for 16 cores is actually not bad!
And yeah, I'd know that motherboard from one look

Great thing bro, I've wanted to build one... It's just that I don't have a single spare cent lol.
Haha, I'll give you one chip, if you pay $280 + shipping lol

Memory Express price matches anywhere in Canada... At least the one I go to does. When they moved to BC I laughed, because I know they'd be entering a frying pan, NCIX is established out there. I doubt they're making many sales out there.
The $1800 is for everything, so, I'm pretty happy with it (so far, it hasn't been booted yet lol)

Daaaamn man. I go to Newegg every now and then when I'm bored, and put together a cart with components for my dream workstation. I actually ended up with some of those parts!

iJelly, so bad. Subbed.

I think they don't have that in mind since they don't really want to compete in the benchmarks game. Must be why they just focus on more physical cores and more total supportable RAM for enterprise and workstation performance.
As for his case, he's mentioned that he'll be working on it for the 2011 case mod competition.

I don't really care for benchmarks I mean I'll do 'em jut because I can, but I don't really care if it's too high or not.
I've done the same thing with carts on the Egg, and I convinced myself to put some money towards this, which I've had my eye on for a while. I wanted a 4 cpu motherboard, and get 4 cpus ect.. but I couldn't justify 800 bucks on a motherboard.

I personally thing that the case I'm building will look even better
You'll just have to stay tuned with the 2011 Case Mod Competition to find out what it'll look like

YOu shouldn't put your components on top of the anti-static bag like that.

Caraboose thats a pretty slick system. I've wanted to build a rig like that, but even my rig is overkill for my uses. Even my servers I host with don't need that power, maybe some day.

I'll be following this build tho, thats for sure!
