Looking For New Mouse/Keyboard...Smaller or Wireless Recommendations?

Anyone have any experience with Microsoft Arc? Looking to buy either Arc or Logitech Illuminated, and not certain which I want to spring for.

Or other recommendations for that matter...

Slimmer and/or smaller design prefered, and scissor switch a plus as well. Money not really a concern, but do not want anything as absurd as Optimus Prime board either. No desire for mechanical as well.

I can only comment on the Logitech Illuminated.

Depending on what your uses are if you expect to game at all on the Illuminated you will feel the force of what seemed (to me) like 1-2KRO. Normally this isn't as bad on normal keyboard but from my experience it is unbearable when playing games.

With that said it's still a nice keyboard for the casual user since it has the low-profile "laptop" switches.

Just a thought.

The illuminated has a problem with Shf-Spacebar-W. Don't plan on CS bunnyhopping.

I wouldn't game on this DealExtreme but can't beat the $18 price (with 2-3 week shipping from Gung Hay Fat Choy Hong Kong) or size.

The one on the bottom. Can't get any smaller and have standard key spacing.

Ripster! Just the person to speak to about such a peripheral.

No CS in my history, so bunny hop jumping shouldn't be too much of a concern. Really not planning on gaming much at all; just trying to have something hooked up for my corporate e410 and personal precision m4400. Might have occasional TF2 sessions, but I suck anyway so no big loss there with a shoddy nkro. Additionally, not much input needed for Minecraft sessions so that is good as well.

Big question for me ripster is that photo you posted...what's the IBM board there? I'm really digging it!

It's a IBM M4. Buckling Rubber Sleeve (kind of the like an early prototype scissor stabilized low profile switch). Details here.

Also comes in a "Barbies Tit" trackpoint version.
