What would you do?

Hey guys. I am about to upgrade my system, and I am currently running off air/TEC. I have always been a tad timid when it came to liquid cooling...something about electronics and water always put me off. However, during the last 7 months, I have been debating the issue of making the switch, doing all of my research and whatnot. My box is cluttered, my TEC is bulky at best, and my wife's cats are making fan life a living hell. So, the question is, if you had my rig, what would you do, and what would you put in it?

The box: Thermaltake Spedo Black Full-T Case

ITB: EVGA X58 SLI Classified mobo (3-way)
Intel Core i7-950 3.06Ghz (OC to 4.05Ghz) w/ Cooler Master V10 CPU Fan
2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 295 CO-OP FTW Ed. (Upgrading to 2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 570 Superclocked)
Corsair Core i7 12GB 1600MHz
Cooler Master 1250W Real Power Pro PSU
Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Pro PCIe (completely unnecessary, I know)

I would.. watercool it! Don't be afraid, if done right... you will be fine Make sure to use 7/16 with 1/2 fittings (compression if you want) because it fits perfectly fine.. 1/2 tubing with 1/2 fittings = clamp needed and I don't want the extra risk

About the cats hmm... watercooling still needs fans for the radiator, so it will be the same thing

With a very nice machine like that, If there is money to spend, I would definetly water cool it.

If you are short of money/not confident enough to watercool, get something like H70, like me

I would go for it, it would certainly save you a lot of money on electricity over TEC chilling and there isn't anything to worry about if you set the liquid cooling up properly on liquids with electrics.

Okay, bear with me...this is a little rough, but paint + 5 minutes = My Epic Plan.

As recommended, I am going to be using 7/16" ID tubing with 1/2" compression fittings. I already have a shopping list in mind, but I am open to suggestions on the best components to use. Current shopping list is around $600.

I think this is a good loop plan, but having never went water before, I am probably about to faceplant or something. Like I said, I am open to all suggestions. Planning on everything inside the box except the radiator (of course).

Res: Prolly some DD plain reservoir or maybe something pretty from FrozenQ

Rad: Black Ice GT Stealth 360 X-Flow

Pump: Swiftech MCP35X

CPU Block: EK Supreme HF Universal CPU Liquid Cooling Block - Rev 2 - Plexi

GPU Block: EK GeForce 570 / 580 GTX VGA Liquid Cooling Block - Nickel + Acetal (EK-FC580 GTX Nickel + Acetal)

For tubing, I'm just going plain black and gonna drop some silver coils in before res and rad for antibacterial and stuff. Might put UV anti-kink coils on it or something.

Nice paint skillz!! Also yes the loop order is perfectly fine. Good job on the tubing 7/12 with 1/2 compression fittings = win

Reservoir is up to YOU! It doesn't matter what reservoir you have, it's all about looks Pick whatever you want. I am using http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/re...-advanced.html

I recommend this CPU block it is really nice! http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/bl...ll-nickel.html

And yes get silvercoil for the res

About the rad, as far as I know XSPC RX are the best radiators for around 1850-2000 RPM, while the RS are for 1450 or so

Well, I've been shopping around and, wife permitting, once I get back to the states, I will begin the build log and see if I can do this without flooding my case. I had the old lady order the 570's the other day and she just emailed me to let me know they came in. I haven't touched my computer in 6 months and I'm frothing at the mouth. This is going to be so much fun!
