I though revision 2 of the reservoir was supposed to allow for two 1/2" ID 3/4" OD Compression fittings?

Nice test none the less.

Takes the new crown at 6.29 PSI of head pressure @ 1 GPM.

I think I just got a fluke sample where the hole drilling process was off a touch.

It also is incredibly efficient, especially compared to the D5/D5S. Sure it puts out a little over 7 PSI of head, but while consuming 35W! Then you have the 35X that can do 6.29 PSI using only 16W. You could run two 35Xs and still use less power than a single D5s, while having almost double it's head pressure.

Amazing. Also, I'm going to use this in my client WC' builds, as I can hook the PWM up to fans and pump and get a system that's dead silent at idle.

Yeah, I should probably emphasize that more. I measure the D5 series getting up to around 14-15% at 1.5GPM where the MCP35X is upwards of 22-23%. That's always good.

I'll look up some values and add a little segment for this. Good point.

but if you add a gpu wb to the assembly would the pwn make it so the video card ran hotter? since the cpu isnt as hot as the gpu?

Good question.

While I haven't experimented much with dynamic throttling of the pump, a combined loop would add that layer of complexity. We don't have much test data to show flow rate impacts to GPU blocks, but you are right about throttling per CPU temp. In a combined loop you would probably want to set that lower PWM limit a little higher than a CPU only loop. Rather than 30% at the lower you might want 50% or something like that.

What I would do is play with manual setting first. Dial the pump down to various setting, then go do CPU and GPU type benching. You would need to feel out what sort of settings work for you. I think most people will find they can dial the pump down quite a bit without seeing much loss.

I would also like to experiment with throttle per water temperature, but that would require an add on controller.
