I have not used them yet, but the Beyerdynamic DT 990s are suppose to have amazing bass and soundstage. Otherwise, I would recommend the DT770 32ohms and if you can afford it, the FiiO E7 amp + random mic.

Perhaps instead of the amp, just get a stereo receiver with HDMI and use that as the amp/volume control. This way you don't need a VGA cable for your console instead of HDMI. Cheap decent ones run from $100 - 200.

I would suggest buying a mic and the headset separately. You will get more bang for your buck that way and have a bigger selection of both mics and headsets.

^What he said. Grab a nice pair of headphones (Sennheiser, Audio-Technica's, Denon's, etc), an Asus DS/DX, and something along the lines of a mic.

Edit:
Do you need a sound card? Your OP says you would like one, but your System Info says that you already have an Asus Xonar ST.

You'd be better off getting a cheaper card (Xonar DS/Xonar DX/Xonar DG) and investing more money in the headphones themselves.

If you're not going to get a sound card as expensive (and awesome) as the Xonar Essence ST(X), then just stick with a Xonar DG. I personally think the cards in between those price ranges are kind of a waste of money. That money would be better spent on headphones and that amp if you want it. Also buy your mic separately and just velcro it on like here:

Definitely would go for the DT880 with an adequate amp and source.

Don't buy that zalman mic. Your headphone cord needs to be pretty thick for it to clip on where you want it to be. The sound quality isn't all that amazing from it. For $13 plus shipping, you may as well buy a desktop mic.
