DeathAdder Black Edition Impressions (56K Warning) - Page 2

The 3.5G I'm using right now's getting warm on the right side. It's enough to be annoying and possibly a deal breaker. Does the BE suffer the same fate?

Warm? I never experienced any thermal problems with original DeathAdder or Black Edition. Maybe it's because of the LED? But AFAIK, LED's don't get that hot and the original had LED's. You sure you're not imagining things? I never experienced a mouse that was too hot to handle. Could be that your palms are just more prone to sweating than others.

Well if you're looking for an excuse to buy the Black Edition then no need for it. Just buy one, well unless of course you're married and you get pimped around by your wife then you need an excuse.

I don't see any reason the Black Edition would have any thermal problems. It has no LED's, maybe it's just you and your palms.

Thank you, it is just me and my palms. My palms that apparently have the ability to detect temperature changes more than yours.

Ya, know, I should just keep my mouth shut sometimes. I'm the type of person that will notice something when 10 others will not. Then because they can't notice it, the problem's me. :/

Well, I can tell you the lights have been turned off, but it's still warm. The Xai also becomes warm. The Ikari Laser does not. It stays cold. I've used the Ikari for years, the Xai and the DA for days. Just like it's older brother, the DA 1800, 3.5G becomes warm on the right side from just slightly off center going down to the glossy side and towards the back.

You're not the first one that I saw complaining about that.
