EA380D Enough? 450/quad core

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I keep second guessing myself on my decision. I ordered the EA380D power supply for a build that I'm making for a friend.
It's basically a:
Phenom II x4 820 95w
1 HDD, 1 DVD, 2 fans
And my 450 gts

I'm positive it will be enough power...now, but will it be reliable? He will NEVER overclock, and it's strictly for gaming(tight budget).

If it's not going to be enough in a few years as I'm assuming the rated power will decrease, should I just keep the 380 and buy a slightly better one for his build?

Thanks!

You'll be fine, the earthwatts 380w has the same amps on its 12v rails as the earthwatts 500w does.

You will be just fine. The GTS450 pulls a max of about 100watts, but in gaming prolly less.

No it doesn't. The EA-380D has 336W on it's +12v, the EA-500 has 408w.

@OP 380w will power that rig fine.

Edit: The EA-500D has 444w on its +12v
