So If I Used a USB to PS/2 Adapter..

So if I used a usb to PS/2 adapter, will the effects of PS/2 still work? Like no CPU polling delay, no NKRO?

Depends on the keyboard if NKRO will work with an adapter or not.

as far as polling goes its been shown on "alot" of keyboards to have no difference between usb/PS2

Only if the keyboard's controller supports working with PS/2. Else it will not work with the adapter.

If you use an adapter your computer will look dorky.

Otherwise normally no change.

You see, Ripster has stuff against PS/2, HHKBs, Duckys and Alps switches.

But back to the OP, it will only work if your controller supports PS/2 in addition to USB (many keyboards do, along with a number of mice). If it doesn't, you're out of luck.

By the way, I'm Pylon from Geekhack.

Oh, you pile it on?

Yeah the Duckys are kinda sucky but no reason to bring that up here.

So if I use a Razer Blackwidow to a PS/2 adapter, there will be no changes? Well it was worth asking haha

Actually with a Black Widow there would be a change. It wouldn't work.

Don't feel bad. A $275 RealForce or Happy Hacking Keyboard acts exactly the same way.
