Will look into that later....gotta sell this old rig before I can buy any more parts

Just some thoughts about today's events before I go do more homework. My computer is a LOT quieter. I used to hear that stock heatsink fan spin up when loading in WoW. Now I just have the constant hum of the fans. It sounds so much better. I was watching temps for a little while and noticed that I hit 27C as a max during game play. Thats freaking amazing! I have to do more research into how to use ASRock boards to OC. I guess I'll just raise the multi until I BSOD and then bump the voltage a little and see what happens. I'll be saving that venture for about a week or two, unless someone has done it with this board and feels like sharing how they did it. I was able to find the Cool N' Quiet feature and I turned that off as the only thing plugged into the board for power is the pump from the H50.

I had a lot of fun figuring out the cable management on the back. Took me forever but I think it is worth it. I easily closed the side panel with room to spare.

Now to sell this other computer and get in some new goodies. I didn't get a chance to measure the tubing. Anyone know what size of tubing is normally modded into the H50? Then I can start pricing the tubing, I like the blue idea, but if I can't find blue then white will do. I also need to get the cash for my side panel and the wall mounting system so I can actually see the inside once I do get the panel.

Cool... any clue on the length you purchased for it? I will measure it if you can't pull it off the top of your head. It is running so much better then stock or any air cooler I have ever used. Installation was a bit of a pain.... I needed three hands but I got it done, had my wife hold the res while getting the air out of it again. Think I should fill the res all the way up to prevent air if it gets knocked around? My first step into water cooling so I will probably have more questions.

I found This tubing at $1.19 a foot

Koolance Tubing Blue PVC 1/4" ID

Think maybe 6 feet will give me enough? But this is a down the road decision.... I doubt my wife will like me redoing it again after I just got it in and working.

Added some commentary on the last pics. Once I take better ones (hopefully tomorrow while the wife is grocery shopping) I'll post them at the end and on the front page of the build.

Don't fill the res all the way up. A little breathing room is nice and it makes it easy to check and make sure flow is good. Really, I usually ran it about half to 2/3rds full. Even if some air gets anywhere else, after a few on/off cycles and some time it will work its way up. If not, just rotate your whole case a time or two after a week and it will. You've probably got most of it out, though.

Length, ohh I have no clue. It was some time ago. What exactly are you trying to do, just refit the lines that were on there? There was probably only ~4feet on the system when I gave it to you. 6 feet should be good and give you extra. I'd hate to wait because you're like an inch short from some $1/ft tubing. Don't know much about that tubing--I have used Tygon and PrimoChill in the past. I actually have some PrimoChill Blue hosing that I'm currently using, I like it a lot. It makes bends very well without using anti-kink.

Yeah I just wanted to make the tubing match the rest of the color scheme and I've heard its better to use colored tubing instead of adding something to the liquid. I would have to agree with that. Ran it by my wife last night and she rolled her eyes at me. Once I get the "I don't care, just do what you want" then I'll go ahead and order it.

I did not get a chance to take any more pics of my rig. Both kids aren't taking long naps and my wife threw her back out, so I've been trying to help out. Not doing too good at it as my mind is trying to figure out what my next step is.

Woo-hoo a friend at work wants my Antec build!!!!

She is writing me a check today and once her HDD and Windows comes in I will bring it in for her. That means I get to order my side panel soon. I was also thinking of getting a white CFL.... or LED strip... any suggestions to help show off the computer for cheap?

Look Look Look!!!

After ordering that I have around $80 I can spend on something. Help me decide on what to get! I am already planning on about 6 feet of blue tubing so I went ahead and took that off my final budget. I really don't think I need anything else right now for it.
