Hey guys wouldn't it make more sense to go from rad to cpu? But I see alot of you experienced water cooling guys go from res to cpu. So am I missing something?

I think the idea is to dissipate the heat right after the water leaves the cpu block rather then pumping that water into your res and letting it sit and mix with the other water that is temporarily in your reservoir.

Most people who have their GPU , NB & SB , CPU under water do it this way because they can route the tubing in a clean and straight manner.
If they did it the other way it wouldn´t be possible to have this clean look and less usage of tubing.
Observe some builds you can often clearly see how the tubing goes up from the GPU then SB & NB then CPU ...and that is just the best looking way the most want to achieve.

Also a lot of pros here like charliehorse555 with whom I already had a major debate about this subject will tell you that it won´t matter what loop order your components will be placed in.

I personally can tell you that I have accomplished the best results with the following order: res->rad->block->res
In my case the tempreture difference was greater than most people have reported that have tried different loop orders.

So I get almost 5 degrees better temps this way ...but it might be because my components are max overclocked and in in that case the factors that contribute to tempreture rising in a different loop order then the aforementioned are of course greatly reinforced.
The reason for this minor tempreture rise involves a lot of complex physics that I don´t wanna get into right now^^.

In any other cases it´s normally a 1-2 degree difference.
But if you are an enthusiast you should test it yourself and go for the order that suits your requirements best

Which is also perfectly fine I am just talking out of my own experience.
But if you are curious just try it out the other way.
In my oppinion a true water cooler should always attempt to achieve the last degree of better tempreture despite looks
But that´s just me

In most loops. The water temp only differs by as much as 2c on certain parts of the loop.

That is correct.

The main factors that cause this minor increase of tempreture are: (And please charlie go easy when you read this^^)

a.)Pumps additional heat disposal

b.)The longer the water has to travel before it can reach the rad to be cooled the longer it is exposed to friction and other sorts of chemical and physical reactions that weaken it´s cooling ability.

c.)If you haven´t gotten a seperate loop and the dissipated heat of all components is dumped into the same resevoir before individually or at least partially having been able to go through a radiator yet the added up heat could possibly be overwhelming and have heat stroking charactaristics which also can enduce the cooling performance loss.

I had my loop on res---pump---block---rad---res,

I recently changed the routing to go res--pump---rad--block---res and I didn't see there being any significant difference when I changed the loop order.
