Alright cool.

Any idea why the voltage is automatic? I want to set that.

Voltage is automatic by default. You can manually change that on the R3E by selecting it and keying in a #.

If I put the voltage too low or the frequency too high, will I need to reset BIOS settings or just reboot and change it to be lower?

It all depends on the board. On my board if it fails to post and I reboot the system it temporarily applies stock settings and allows me to go back in to the bios and change things around after an error message.
