If you own this laptop can you tell me if theres advanced bios options that I can unlock.

Also for the GTX260M is there anyway I can manually adjust the fan speed?

I've been looking to do the same thing to mine because sometimes the fan ramps up for no apparent reason (CPU is only running at 39C and GPU at 60C). I've searched on how to do this, but the only thing I've done that seems to have done any effect whatsoever is setting Power4Gear to "Quiet Office" mode. You can toggle that by pressing the touch sensitive button at the top (where the speakers are) that has a running man. Now the fan seems to run a bit lower.

As for controlling the fan speed itself manually, there is no option unfortunately. Using the Nvidia Control Panel with Nvidia Tools, with driver 266.58, when you choose Performance>Device Settings, you only get the option of manually controlling the GPU Clock Clock, Memory Clock, and Shader Clock.

Also, picked up mine a month-and-a-half ago for $650. How did you get it so cheap?
