Got this new mobi and ht link is sitting at 1000, for the life of me I can't figure out how to set it to 2000. Someone help me

The chipset is an AM2-based chipset - Hence the non-split VRMs, and slower HT link (which won't really make too much of a difference). What CPU are you using this with?

I'm using an athlon x4 640, probably going to just leave it at stock after reading your guide, don't know if this board will handle 3.6.
