Just get a KillCoil or PT Nuke so you won't have to change your water so early because of algae.

yeah ive got a killcoil and i will just need some more utopia. was so hoping i could play crysis but i guess i can wait till the weekend

wooooooooooooooooooooo turns out it was the pci cable i sleeved.. i accidentally swapped one wire with another....soooooooo. any ways she is working beautifully and i will have some benchies up soon. my room is at 24c and it is running at 33c both gpu and cpu is that good temps ?

Do you mean you actually swapped a ground(black) wire with a +12V(yellow) and nothing happened to your card?

It shouldn't do anything, a power supply will immediately cut power if it detects a short circuit.

yeah its all working fine. like mcpetrolhead said my power supply instantly cuts in with powergaurd. its a safety feature with enermax and lot of other new power supplies have.

i crapped myself when i figured it out though.

They claim it as a feature, but every single psu i have seen will shut themselves off if they detect a short circuit. It is a feature but it is certainly nothing new, my generic 500W psu from about 2 years ago has it, as do many others.
