Pretty sure it's the black flat square chips 1mm or so off the Mobo.

Also what's good software to use for measuring heat? I don't seem to have anything that measure's it, additionally with 3rd core unlocked, I can't measure CPU directly, is there another way to do it? or should i just lock it up, then Overlock everything as I please, then when finished testing etc, turn it back on and up volts by 0.5 to compensate?

The 8 black squares are the mosfets, also have two silver bars that go into the motherboard.

Thanks rep'd, mind you out of those, the first 2 suck, coretemp and realtemp don't show CPU temps only core temps. HWMonitor does though it looks quite nice. Shame about the new version of everest, AIDA64 extreme or w/e it's called. It seems pretty good, monitors and provides info on just about everything.

Coretemp is my favorite.

Why does it suck?

On a good board you should also have a setting for NB frequency in the BIOS so even if you OC strictly with the multi you should still be able to raise the NB frequency (and ram frequency). In the end it comes down to fine tuning and how much time you are willing to spend on it.
