Test 7 & 8, with multipliers set high, and freq set low. but results were fluctuating and around 29 gflops. I have just listed 3-6 here as they are best results.

As you can see from the results, test 3 and 6 are similar in that the HT link was set higher than 2k, but gave slightly better results than test 4 and 5. 0.1 - 0.3 Gflops, and quicker time. But they fluctuated more, whereas 3 and 6 gaze very consistent GFLops

Not abandoned just the weekend for me! (Being I work weekends). Not to mention DA2 and TW:S2 demos to play hehe, anywho, you seem to be on the right track and are finding the spread in your settings. From just a quick glance I like setting 3. Though some of that is going to be the cpu freq. Just want to be sure that your temps are under control and you should be golden.

Dont be afraid to bump your HT a little after you get a good OC. Mine runs nice at 2400mhz, doesnt hurt my OC stability and helps on benchmarks and stuff.

Yeah not abandoned! I've been busy with school and I haven't checked threads I've been posting on. Any of those settings will be good as long as you get within 30-31Gflops. I normally see 50-53GFlops depending on my OC settings, though it's strange that there is a 20Gflops between a tri-core and quad-core (and I guess my NB-CPU is at 2800-3000mhz).

I'll try and do some tests later today and post what I get. I'll try stock and overclocked as dual, triple, and quad.

Regarding HT link, I actually see no difference, but since the experts say stick to 2000mhz, that's what I do. I've run it up to 3000mhz before, but have not seen any benchmark running significantly lower than when set at around 2000mhz.

Edit: Oh I forgot to mention increasing memory usage by IBT, will show higher and more accurate Gflops, although it is exponentially more time consuming. It's really not worth maxing memory usage unless you're trying to find stability.

Again the overclocked x3 and x4 had some varied results (not within .1-.2 of each other) but are stable otherwise.

Just curious, but how is my 3core at stock (3.2ghz, nb 2000mhz, ht 2000mhz, RAM 1600 7-7-7-20-27) equivalent to your overclocked 3core? I doubt the small difference in RAM is really making a big significance. [Edit: Nvm you're only using 3GB vs my 4GB]

yeah must be the difference between a x86 and 64bit.
Edit I only just reinstalled recently, I tried 64bit a couple years ago and didn't like it due to not much driver support etc. But seeing as though everyone seems to be going 64bit I'm guessing it's tons better than 2 years ago. I might upgrade in a couple months, I've got a few vista and 7 keys floating around for 64bit.
