i have used both nvidia and ati gpus in several builds for customers and have never had any problems. my customers usually don't OC, and whenever there is an update i will personally install it via remote desktop, i just tell my customers that i would like to do updates and performance increases, and they just set it up and have me do my thing. i have yet to encounter a serious graphics card issue. drivers have always seemed solid, only complaint is some nvidia drivers won't work unless you uninstall them manually then do a fresh driver install, where ati is just a fast, easy update
This man is on the ball , its a users error rather than faulty drivers .. I recommend using driver sweeper to remove every gfx driver from ur system , then install the latest drivers and you should be sweet to go with no probs . Many people just keep overwriting the last drivers with the new and thats when confliction starts happening .. and bsod's .
Do it the right way ! and save urself from bashing on amd's drivers .. nvidias are just as bad , if not worse .
