Need Help With Asus 890GX, Primary GPU

Ok my problem is that i have 2 video cards.
  1. XFX 9600 GSO
  2. EVGA 8800 GTS 640MB
What i wanted to do was use both at the same time. I wanted my primary card to be the 8800 GTS and the secondary to be the 9600 GSO. My problem is that i cant get the 8800 GTS to show up video. What would be the right config?
PCI-E #1 - 8800 GTS
PCI-E #2 - 9600 GSO?
OR

PCI-E #1 - 9600 GSO
PCI-E #2 - 8800 GTS?
And when i go into bios there is 890GX chipset config and i dont know which video card to use. There is a list of 4 video adapters but when i try either one it will either only show up onboard DVI or the 9600 GSO.
Do you guys think i need the SLI hack? I wanna start folding@home again with my new rig.

EDIT: My mobo is an ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3. I also noticed that my internet is being connected. Should i format?

You mean use the 9600 as a PhysX card?

Small update. Seems as if when i try just the 8800 GTS there is no screen saying booting 8800 GTS 640mb. But when i use the 9600 GSO it says booting and the amount of memory. I hope i dont have to flash the card just to do this... As of now i am formatting and will be using my laptop for now. I also noticed that the network isnt being connected to the interent with only my computer.

Yes.

Put the 8800 in the main PCIe. Plug in your DVI. Boot, check if everything's working. Turn off computer. Put the 9600 in another PCIe. Boot, set the 9600 to "decicate to physx".

tried that already. The 8800 GTS wont show an image. Only the 9600 GSO.

the 8800 doesn't give a display..... I think you should get that card checked.....

EDIT: Does it display when it's the only GPU?
