I vote save the money, I am about to make the switch from a e8500 to a 2500k using gskill ripjaw x ram and can't wait.

I don't think you'll even feel memory differences anyway. You might feel it just becuase you believe it's faster, but most computer activities don't actually perform any faster, at least not more than 1-3%.

But, in synthetic benchmarks you'll see better numbers.

Ya, you won't notice any difference. RAM timings and clock speed above 1,600MHz are nothing more than marketing hype -- unless you're into hardcore benching with polar bear urine.

Save your money. I only picked up the Vengeance because I had a $35 deal at the time of purchase.

will get the G.Skill then, just wanted to make sure, cause the money I'm spending elsewhere I didn't want to be let down by the RAM cause I saved in that area

Ordering everything Friday (providing I get paid on time) can't wait! (sig rig is the spec I'm building to, other than the ram, which I will change to G.Skill now)

G.skill has been working very well for me. I have the 8gb 1600 cl9 kit oc'd to 1866, totally stable and passes all memory tests.
