Wait and see how Bulldozer preforms, IMO.

My second 6950 arrives next week and I will cross fire. My buddy is getting a second GTX 560 that he will SLI. So, we will see how performance goes from there. But honestly, I was lead to believe at higher resolution, it is mostly your GPU and CPU has very little to do.
While it is your gpu that does most of the work when you have a weaker cpu that can only put out say 30-40 fps in certain cpu intensive areas of a game no matter how many gpus you add you still are going to be stuck at 40 fps in that area. While your fps average will receive a big performance boost your minimum fps will likely remain close to the same since often minimum fps on older cpus like the q6600 is a result of your cpu not being able to process information fast enough to allow your gpu to work at its maximum speed. Run gpu-z while gaming in a game like starcraft 2 or bad company 2 multiplayer. You will see your gpu usage drop in cpu intensive areas. That being said it is still probably completely playable, but it isn't utilizing the gpu to its full potential.

Hey guys, how is this motherboard? http://www.directron.com/p8p67.html?gsear=1,

it has SLI, and its ATX. Also what Sata ports could I usee? and are there any other boards better than this one for the price?

It depends how you set your games up. Maybe not with Tri-SLI or two ultra-high end cards, but look up any test that shows FPS/resolution on different platforms with high-demand games and a single card or SLI/X-Fire. With high settings at about 2560, they all converge to the same FPS, 'cause it becomes GPU limited.

If you have a 3.0 dual core, or stay at or below 1080p depending on FSAA, it's a different story.

While that is mostly true he would still see gpu usage spikes with a q6600 at 3Ghz in games that only utilize 2-3 threads. Unless he was playing with averages of 40 fps in which case it might not be the cpu causing it but there are plenty of games that would have that cpu slowing down to 30-40 fps at certain spots and no matter how many gpus you put in and no matter how much stress you put on them it still is only gonna run at 30-40 fps at those spots.

That motherboard is pretty good..very basic in every sense..has the efi bios for user friendly bios tweaking..however, you cannot run sli on that motherboard..I believe it's only crossfire...best to get the pro board instead and leave some options open..best performance/price board
