LOL WUT. Come on, now. Don't spread misinformation. GPUs use WAY less power than what people think. A GTX 460 1GB will consume 155 watts max.


The rest of your platform should consume less than 150W. So we're looking at around a max. of 300 watts. If you want a truly accurate number regarding if your PSU can take it, we need to know the model and how many amps it can provide on the 12V rail overall.

18a on x2 12v rails with one PCI-e power connector (6 pin) 420w maxx according to most reviews. (even though its badged a 460)

Cooler master elite 460.

not the best of the psu's...if u r upgrading then invest in at least a 600 watter considering u will upgrade in a year and then u wont have to upgrade ur psu again...
otherwise for now i think ur rig wont pull more than 350 watts........

Not the best, but should definitely be more than up for the job. Don't worry about the PSU; you'll be fine.
