Cooler Master Hyper 212 + or Cooler Master V6 GT? - Page 3

Hyper 212+ gets my vote. Installed one on a friend's machine(q9550), and OMG does it run cool and quiet now. Know the design, and it mounts great too. For the money, it's a god-like cooler, overall it's still a really good cooler. Almost wish I got it over my Mugen 2 after handling it. The build quality is surpurb too, much sturdier than my Mugen 2, and it's decently sturdy.

They have less noise than my antec case fans at 100%. the noise is soft enough im about to swap out all my 120mm Blue LED fans for syth kaze ultra's(case and cpu cooler) to see how cool I can get this thing my 2 cents.
I'd be interested to know, thanks.

Did you install with 2 fans in P/P or just the one?

Was going to do push-pull but the fans I had were not compatible w/ the included brackets, and I didn't really want to ghetto up my friend's rig w/ zip ties or mod the fans. So I just left the stock fan on it and was actually pretty impressed w/ it's airflow and it's quietness.

If you swap out the fans your gonna lose that PWM feature cause most aftermarket PWM fans aren't really that great. I'm thinking replacing mine in my V6 GT with CM Sickleflows. They pump out almost 70CFM @ <19dba !!!!!!!! I could run them full blast all day a note hear a thing an still run cooler than stock fans for only a $20 ($9.99ea) upgrade.
