~$1500 Build - Need Help/Suggestions - Page 2

If i were to keep the i7 here is a slightly modified build from my original. Better? Thoughts? If you ignore the shipping... i am up 52.73 from the 1st build but added a SSD, More RAM, Better monitor, & Different Smaller Case. Newegg charges an arm and a leg to ship to an APO/AE address... Amazon is free but they wont ship certian items to APO's... Anyone know of any other vendors i might be able to find the "E" products at to save on shipping?

Right now i just couldnt justify the need for more than 6 gigs. And even if i required more i could always swap rather than continue to put more in.

Graphics cards... i had one in there for starters. But i would and will eventually put a second in SLI.

Internet... i would only need one lan and i do require wireless at my current location (so i wouldnt need the premium, just the e model of the mobo listed).

I do want usb 3.0 and 2.0 with plenty of connections.

I want it to have plenty of stability and overclocking capability because i do want to get close to 4.0 on the cpu if possible. I dont see myself wanting more than 4 cores so if the i5 works then thats awsome, i7 is cool also.

Specifically on the case... i do want a window. Pointless to the computer but its nice to look at. Maybe the sniper would be a good choice? But theres no front facing 3.0 connection. But at this time i guess that doesnt really matter.

I do like the 2nd build, im just trying to weigh it and see if i would be happy in 3 years. You all have rigs already... did you want more when you were done?
I haven't gotten to build my rig yet, everything is bought and at my house in Denver, awaiting for my return for spring break. Yet, I'm still planning upgrades. Christmas.....another gtx 580, OR XSPC rasa and a SSD.

You always will want more, and better. You just need to balance out what you can get now, and what you can get later within your price range.

Just my 2c.

I ordered it, it arrived, and now its up an running . My signature and the last build posted is what I went with. Spent the last two days updating drivers, windows, installing benchmark software, etc... It's a he'll of a process but I love that the only things installed are what i want, nothing more, nothing less. I read through the forms for suggestions already but are there any programs/updates I need to get that i may overlook? Thanks everyone for your suggestions/help. Now it's time to attempt to overclock it a bit. It runs between 32-35 celcius right now. Pics!
