the best picture was the one ak-47 just put up, The fins and chips underneath of the 4/8 AK-47 pin I mean 4/8 pin. (and I am done btw no more jokes) Now ASUS sells a fan kinda looks like a horse shoe comes with some boards, and should of come with this one. It clips right on the fins and cools down the mosfets so when you are overclocking you get some more stability

Thanks for the reply
I had a feeling that might had been the reason my vdroop was so much higher than everybody else's
Didn't really want to mess with my cables because they took so long to get to the point i don't want throw my rig out the window because of how messy and how many cables i have with the TX-950
I can probably power up a second rig with the extra cables from that thing
So eventually I'll get around to it. Been busy all day today and I'm pretty tired

Edit: I said the hell with resting and fixed it but nothing happened.....
My Vdroop is still as massive as ever

dont feel bad AK I have massive vdroop also as mine will drop.13 volts, if you dont mind me asking did you get your board anytime after mid Feb to mid March? as I got mine around the end of Feb and maybe that has something to do with the latest batch of boards? Just a thought.

So you set yours to 1.5v to achieve that 1.375 v 4.O GHZ OC?
That's pretty neat. That's the beauty of a golden chip
I got the board in September of last year but maybe they had a bad batch back then 2?

Unless it's supposed to be 4 since 4 are covered?
If it's not supposed to be 4 then Why is it blocked?
It's blocked so that systems using the old 4-pin connectors will still work, and will plug into the proper section of the socket. You should still be using 8-pin power if your power supply has it (if it doesn't, buy a new power supply).

Unfortunately, using the full 8-pin power will not help Vdroop. That's a feature, not a bug.

Hey Brad do you have a link to your build? Also has anyone here been able to get a 3000mhz nb and be stable, and what were your settings to get it stable?

I so far have only been posting in the watercooled pictures club but that is because it is just easier till I get back running! I have been posting with the phone lol sucks, but I did not finish the LAN before I started this so the phone is the only link to the internet as of now, well ps3 also but I don't like using it for that. The NB I got to and still at is 2850 but hoping after new water loop I will get it up a little more. Remember I am on the phone so I don't answer as often
