woohoo 300 reference clock, http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1857402 thats about all the new I got here other than thinking about trying to stick my H50 rad(minus fan) in a bowl of ice water and see if I can get a higher than 4.671 clock. Not had much time lately with moving to do much

what was your temps at and what settings, and how long was it stable? I just would like to know myself as I am making a list of all settings and going through them to see if they work better for my system
post #263 of 611
my temps were around 38-39c(idle) on the cpu and the board was 29c as far as settings I had to set the vcore to 1.5(damn vDROP) lol other than that the cpu/nb was 1.45 and I believe the mem was 1.66 the nb at 28xx and the ht at 1800 other than that pretty normal oh and nb volts at 1.34. I've had it post as high as 315 once but wouldn't boot, were as this I didnt prime it but I could do cpu intensive tasks(wprime32) and it was stable

that was still high as hell, well that is that so they say my new SaberTooth 990FX just showed up and I will be switching out to it. I did not change because of any V-droop problems as most of you know I did not have much on my board. I wanted BD when it comes out and while ASUS has promised to upgrade most of there 890 chip-set boards they failed to mention this board in fact according to the ASUS tech I spoke with they are not even working on a new bios update at all for this board!!!! which killed me to hear that, then along with that depressing news they said they were working on a bios update for the 780A but not the 980A even though they are basically the same! ASUS has once again pissed me off with there (oh buy this board it is the best mid level board and it supports everything new) I fall for the wrong board every time!!! I figured because it supported Nvidia it would of been the biggest seller but in true bad luck everyone bought the 890 chip-set and hacked it lol go figure! So now Asus has abandoned this board for future updates which I find funny as it is now in every FLASH SALES AD on every web page. The board has even gone up in price which tells me it is going out, I would expect this from a Intel board but this was a shock from a AMD platform!

I will be still using this board, once BD is out the 970BE will go back in this one and into one of the countless cases I have (dam you E bay) or if one of you has a problem please don't hesitate to ask me if I still have it and would I part with it. I will say again this has been a great board I am more mad at ASUS for not standing up and still working on it as the board deserves it, I think it works better than the CH:IV in fact I have got better OC's than some of the guys on there thread, I am not leaving this club at all as I still own and will be using this board in something just don't know what yet

Just upgraded to a x4 955,from my x3 720.
720 is going back in my M2N32-sli dlx.
Probably run it stock for the summer, damn vdroop 1.3625v bios for 1.31v cpu-z under load.

I vote you dont know what your talking about.... J/K you just got lucky with your board
also Gyro I'm not sure why you've choosen the 955 over one of the higher factory clocked one's, but I bet you will like it if you got one that overclocks well like mine, congrats
