honestly I reinstalled windows a couple days ago and it did it itself. I'm googling around right now to see what I can find because I didn't even notice.

I gunna wait till I get my new ram in my rig before I do anymore OCing! It will make me feel a little better not that it will make a diff or not but waiting a few days isnt gunna hurt I guess! But I'm gunna try either friday or saturday when my package arrives. And by the way I did some research on that Bios version that themetal has got ....Its a mod of some sort! Let me know if it's worth the the upgrade it looks a little different then the bios I have right now like the core stufff looks different then mine but anyways heres the link to the Asus site http://support.asus.com/Download.asp...005HA&p=20&s=1

does anyone know if a modded bios would really help these boards in anyway?

I'm not aware of any modded bios for the board. And that wouldn't help the Vdroop, since that's hard-coded in the way the circuit is constructed. Fixing the Vdroop would require a hardware hack; and so far no one has managed to create an effective hack for this board.

so far there is not one but I have the program to do it, I am just learning myself on how! I will keep you updated and I am testing as we speak. Now those of you that remember my boards vdroop or drop in some peoples case was not all that bad but I am working on taking the little I had and fixing that, and also adding LLC to the mix or a version of it if I can!?! I also have been talking with a board mod'er about maybe coming up with a simple mod that will allow better volt control and signal wave adjustment. I don't have any real answers yet but I am working on it.

PS... If you were working on the pencil mod with this board or any other mods and have any findings that mite help me feel free to PM me your data sheets or work thanks

.themetal has version 1301 on his computer and I was trying to figure it out! Unless he has got a laptop because thats what that bios version was for I think!
But even so the m4n98td-evo is for a desktop anyways! Go back and look at his post where he put up his specs.
