6950 vs 5870

which would you go for? plz click the link
the length of the card is important to me smaller the better

6950 this one seems smaller and cheaper than the HIS 6950.. does it give the same performance?

5870 this one is bigger and more expensive than the xfx 5870. does it have better performance?

Turn your 6950 into a 6970.

6950 is 10-20% ish faster than the 5870 both at stock.

The 6950 prob has better OC headroom with the flash as above.

From what I've seen the flash is more than likely to limit oc head room. Also all the benches I've seen put 5870=6950 or the 6950 like 2-5 frames ahead. Sooooo If you don't want to unlock just go with the 6950 for the improved tessellation !

This one if you want to spend less money, but it only has a two year warranty.
This one is more expensive, but comes with a lifetime warranty.
