"Monitor" for PC and XBOX FPS Gaming

Thread Starter
So, I am an avid FPS gamer with a love for high quality gameplay. I have turtle beaches and a HD PVR for recording my Xbox gameplay.

This leads me to my current problem. I currently use a HDTV that runs at 60 Hz. It has a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 and has VGA ports and the standard ports for the AV cables and such that I need for my HD Pvr to work.

My PC setup is an i7 processor and 570 GT GPU.

Here is my question: I've heard that 120 Hz is sooo good and I have thought about moving this HDTV that I use to my living room and buying a standard 22" or higher LCD monitor. I have no plans to use 3D vision any time soon, but would like to still be able to use my HD Pvr and Xbox 360 with my LCD monitor.

Anything that can fulfill these requirements for under $400?

I thought 120hz was only good for PC since its the only platform that can hit more than 120 FPS

Consoles are capped at 30 and 60 fps aren't they

Shrug, I have no clue at all. I basically want to be able to do this so that I can easily swap between PC and Xbox like I currently do

120 Hz is pointless for the Xbox 360. Figured I'd link him a good bang for buck monitor, but failed to notice he needed those specific ports. Long day.... lol
