A funny observation

Thread Starter
I know I'll probably be corrected to hell by saying this, which I welcome . So the anisotropic filtering option in video games is supposed to reduce blurring out of things from distances right? Some video games also have blur effects, aren't these 2 things kind of contradictory?

blur effects are when you turn around the environment around you becomes a little burred like your eyes would do if you turned around quickly. I dont like that option since it feels weird but if you want it then go for it!

I barely know what I'm talking about too, but i think it just makes the bluring less pixilated.

It reduces the blur on distant textures it doesnt remove the blur effect if the game has one.
