GA-P35-DS3L Onboard Audio has failed

Earlier today, my sig rig was working flawlessly. Out of no where (literally), I lost audio. Realtek HD manager shows all analog inputs greyed out, windows audio manager shows speakers unplugged when they are pluged in. I have tried the front and back analog ports with no luck. Tested the speakers on my laptop, and i've tried plugging in my headset, also with no luck.

I have reinstalled the realtek drivers.

I have checked "disable front audio jack" in the realtek manager. I read that this might solve the issue, it has not.

I have reset the cmos and reformatted the pc with Windows 7 x64, also with no luck.

Im lead to believe that the realtek audio chip on the motherboard is fried.
The motherboard boots fine, and even holds overclocks still very well.

Any ideas?

Buy a new soundcard and enjoy the quality sound it produces. Not much else you can do.

Yep, time for a sound card.

I recommend the ASUS Xonar DG. Great quality (noticeable difference from onboard), and only $30.
