Your speaking about 90% of the OCN community. I download 1TB a month, that does make me a basement dweller?

I pulled 100 GB a month from uploads alone (game servers), keeping them on 24/7. That was only 3 servers at 34 slots. Not sure what caps hosts put on uploads though.

5GB is enough for 30 minutes of youtube, 6 hours of gaming, some itunes albums, and general surfing.

Also, since i'm aussie, i have experienced capped plans for many years.

Don't download alot, and you'll have like 50GB for the last 3 days, get all your steam games and legit FLAC music then.
yeah great idea thanks but 5gig per day is it a lot for what im doing ?

Unless your watching 1080P youtube 3 hours a day, i'll doubt youll pull 5gb.
Same with gaming, 12 hours of upload/download combined is like 1GB. Even less if your ISP doesnt count uploads.

Now for steam games, depends on how many. I would buy the games towards the end of the month, and then download them with any qouta you have left, and if your capped it's only for 1 day.

Basically, youtube, gaming etc is fine for 5gb a day.
