GTX 570 weird noise - HELP

Thread Starter
Hello.

I have my 2 GTX 570 running perfectly fine. They chew through anything without a problem. However, when something really GPU intensive pops up, Crysis, Furmark or Heaven benchmark for example, they (or one of them) make a funny "brrrr" noise. The noise is the same kind of "brrr" you make when you are cold, with the rolling 'r'.

What is this? Anything to be worried about?

The cards are running stock atm.

They don't squeal. They make a "brrr" noise. More like a vibrating sound, but they don't vibrate.

Are you sure it's your gpu? Does it sound like an electrical buzzing sound?

Its nothing, its either a cap or a coil squealing (which counts as your "brrrr" noise too). Only get worried when your playing games and your system restarts itself randomly. Also if it bothers you that much request an RMA, i am for my 460 which makes the same noise. How old is the 570?

EDIT: its a common thing, nothing to be seriously worried about

It's not an electrical sound. But these is that too, however, this sounds a lot more. I can hear it through the case during load in furmark...

The cards are like 2-3 weeks old. However, only been using them for 1 week (had to wait for other computer parts).

Did you fully read my post, i said its fine and if your that worried RMA it like i am to my 460 which has the same problem, i know... its like a noise that sounds like your cards gonna break any second! but yeah mines just under a month old too, something nvidia got going on, which model 570 do you have?

EDIT: i see zotac, mines asus. no resemblance there then, although we do share the same fault.
