Thank you!

Noctua NH-D14
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-018-_-Product

edit: I see your using the V8, I was also using that, and was at 4.2Ghz. However the Noctua is a much better cooler, now that I have it, I can definately say its worth it.

The one in my sig rig is a monster too(Mugen-2). I put it on my i7 @4Ghz and it keeps it cooler than its usual cooler, the h50. For its price, it is hard to beat. There are better ones out, sure, but nowhere near the price/performance of this one.

try the thermaltake frio.... cheaper then the nhd14 and about on par with the performance.

surely not as silent. but definately good enough to get a i7 up there

The Venomous-X is another of the top tier coolers along with the Noctua and Megahalems. I prefer the space I save with this one since I can use tall RAM without worrying. The Noctua is a beast and can block tall RAM. They are all within a few degrees of cooling performance.
