Should I WC my chipset?

I have an EVGA x58 FTW and the NB gets quite hot. Before it used to idle in BIOS at around ~80C. So I purchased a 40mm chipset fan and now my NB temps idle at ~69C-71C in BIOS. The ambient temp inside my computer case feels like an oven. My tubes (especially the ones near the NB heatsink) feel very hot. And my EK full nickel water block is scorching hot (not sure if its supposed to be like that)

Will these ambient heat problems go away if I add a waterblock to the mobo?

Im worried about how much heat the NB will add to my loop. I currently have a core i7 930 and a GTX 480 in my loop using a Thermochill PA 120.3 rad.

The average northbridge doesn't make that much heat, it's only the poor heatsinks they put on them that lets them get so hot. If it is adding that much heat to the case, then either you should improve case air flow, or add it to the loop.
Add the chipset to the loop, it won't hurt matters, just make sure you get the full board kit or full board block, as that board has integrated NB/Mosfet cooling, and you don't want to cook the mosfets when you remove the NB heatsink. If won't help the SB any, but your CPU temps won't go up significantly, they may even drop.
The GTX480 gets very hot anyway, from your build log, I see a Laing D5, if that's not already at top speed, then there's your answer to that, turn up the pump.

its about 130.00 to do the full board water blocks and if you do it thats how you want to go

I did mine after I noticed how much heat mine was puting off

I had to keep a small fan in the case over the chipset or I would have prograblems with my system. Only because i'm overclocking of course
but never the less thats what we do, we OC it all dont we

you could hold your hand over top of them and feel the heat rising off the chipset
went with a water cooled chipset and no more issues

If you did buy a full cover board block I'd be really worried about the pump. Even at full speed the 655 is not a very powerful pump and with that incredibly restrictive GPU block and the added chipset block your flow rate would dip well below 1.0 GPM. I'd say if you want to add a chipset block I'd sell your 655 and upgrade to the MCP35X.

If you don't mind the dust, try reversing the rear fan in your case to an intake.

All the top fans should be outtakes.
