Well the real reason I'm asking if I can use only 3 of the DIMMs is that if I could use 3 instead of 4 buying two kits would make this a 70$ triple channel + 1 kit and right now that seems like a killer deals.
But what you're trying to say is that I'd be able to run this as triple channel plus 1 in say slot A2? Would that offer the same performance as simply running this as triple channel and leaving the other one aside?
I was going to get another module from Mushkin to make this kit a triple kit but the person I spoke to told me that it would cost around $50 for one stick. That makes the kit I have $130 and honestly for that money I could pick up some Dominators.
I'm really worried that these won't fit under the NH-D14.
