as of now its only got 3 lenses, but there are i think 4 more to be released this year, PLUS third party lens companies like sigma are going to be releasing some soon.

i completely recommend this camera to someone who wants point and shoot easiness with DSLR quality pics.

dpreview has a whole forum just for the Nex cameras...its here

you may have to log in to see it, but i spent like a month on here reading as much as i could to help my decision.

good luck on your choice
Not to start trash talking, but I'd take dpreview's forum's advice with a grain of salt. The site itself is great for information on the go, but if I were to compare it to computer terms, dpreview would be the CNet of photography.

In short, generally the advice is good, but once you start getting into the nitty-gritty you're going to want to move to more specialized forums.

i dont think there are any NEX specific forums cause the system is so new.

for canon dslr
photography-on-the.net (POTN)

for sony dslr
dyxum.com

i dont know about POTN but dyxum has a specific NEX thread so you can ask some questions there, but by no means is it a NEX forums.

It doesnt have to be NEX i still havent made a choice am completely neutral. I still need to go to best buy and pick up all these cameras. Although when i go home in a couple weeks i should probably go to a rits camera as they will probably have a better selection and lot more knowledge able staff(maybe). Any good nikon forums?
