XFX 5770 reaching 90C

Thread Starter
Hey, when doing Furmark or playing WoW my card is reaching stupid high temps as many other people seem to be getting much less (about 20C less in fact).

I have an antec 300 case with the default top+rear fans, no airflow problems and fan is on auto and its not overclocked either.

Cataclyst 11.2, driver 7.14.10.0812

It has the white residue problem on the gpu board, but this isnt supposed to raise temps.

The card could be faulty or i just need to get moar fans, which is it?

Double check that the GPU fan is spinning....

I once pulled the fan off a ATI 4830 and run Furmark and was slowly watching the tempature's hit 106C, now that was a sight to see lol!

How long have you had the card? Have you tried dusting it out?
