Help with i7 overclocking

Thread Starter
hi all,

Got stable overclock last night of 1660mhz ram at 7/20. Cpu was just under 4ghz, 19x205, and all was fine.

Just upped the ante for 210x19 for 4.10ghz and put ram clocks down to 8/24, but soon as i get into windows it BSOD's...so i up the vcore...BSOD again, so i up the QPI...then now i get into testing with IBT and at 1 minute pc freezes, none responsive. But soon as I up the vcore then qpi it just does exact same thing...?

Im currently at 1.32vcore and 1.32 qpi, what else is happening if its freezing now instead of BSOD?

Is it possible that your RAM is not stable? I used 23x multipler with 1400MHz RAM.

Try using the 21 multiplier?

BCLK may be too high for your board?
