its the same price for them both, but i have no clue which one is better betwen:
ASUS M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...v%20evo%2fusb3
or
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-402-_-Product

and oh, i only have a 4pin to cpu power on the psu and the a88 uses a 8 but its seems to be a lid for it

The non-USB3. Look at the USB 3.0 thumb drives that you can buy and you will see they are nowhere near what USB 3.0 should be.

I vote for the first one. Newer chipset and USB3.0. Even if it's not in use now, it will be soon.

Well I dont know how much you can spend or why your upgrading. But the 890 boards would be better. But more money. I would not sweat with my PSU ,as it is the single most important piece of the puzzle. After getting scolded for mentioning a cheap PSU in past. I will only say buy a quality (seasonic,antec,corsair,ect) if you want a piece of mind.

I dont know all your story but if it were me upgrading on a low budget. I would either wait and get a new cpu,psu,mb,ram. Or I would look at someone here trying sell there old board .For that cpu.

well im not looking for a psu, got a axp 500w. the thing is if i need a 4 to 8 pin conector? and its the same prive for the boards, im uppgrading so that i can oc wich i cant with this mobo
