Hey guys, this is my first ever amd build, built probly over 20 Intel pcs over the years for my self and friends but finally decided to take the plunge into the amd side of things.

I just got the amd x6 1055t cpu with gskill 1600mhz ddr3 ram and the asus 750a sli motherboard.

I am going to be running the stock cooler and was hoping to get a mild oc out of it but I have no idea how to OC amd cpus and would love some advice with specifics to my motherboard and cpu combo

thanks in advance!

Hey, i think this i an amd thing, Amd have a reference clock which is like the speed of all components so push that it will push the ht link , north bridge and ram etc.

since your just looking for a mild overclock i would just bump the multi till you get what you want, if its unstable then add voltage. i think its basically the same as intel. Or if you want to overclock a bit of everything then push the reference clock.
